We were skeptical at first.  After all, Burger King has some of the fattiest items in fast food history.  But BOY were we pleasantly surprised to find a whole slew of yummy, diet-friendly stuff there!  Read on for the details...
Hot Chick!

Ok, we never thought we'd say this, but Burger King actually had the BEST chicken breast of all the fast food joints we've hit thus far.  Order your TenderGrill Chicken Sandwich bunless (and without that fatty honey mustard spread), and your fire-grilled, moist and delicious chicken breast will show up in a bowl with some lettuce and tomato.  For just 160 calories, 4g fat, 600mg sodium, 2 carbs, 2g fiber and 28g protein (3 WW Points), you can't beat it!
Just Say LOW!

Order any of Burger King's sandwiches "low carb" and they'll serve it to you bunless, in a bowl, covered with lettuce and tomato. It's AWESOME.  We heart BK!
The 411 on Salads...

Fire Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad -- With romaine, grape tomatoes & parmesan cheese, this salad is awesome!  The lettuce is the most crisp out of all the fast food salads we've tried.  Plus, the large, juicy, tender chunks of fire-grilled chicken that go with the salad come in their own little pouch (awwww!)!  And the parmesan cheese is EXCELLENT, 'cuz it's freshly shaved!  The impressive nutritional stats?  190 calories, 7g fat, 9 carbs, 1g fiber and 25g protein (4 WW Points).  Yowsa!  Now that doesn't include dressing, but we urge you to use 1/2 a packet of the fat free honey mustard dressing.  It'll only add 35 calories to your meal.

 

Fire Grilled Chicken Garden Salad -- This salad comes with spring mix lettuce, baby carrots, cucumber slices, red onions, grape tomatoes, and the same yummy parmesan and chicken as the Caesar.  It's a great salad, with great nutritionals.  It's got just 210 calories, 7g fat, 13 carbs, 2g fiber and 26g protein (4 WW Points).
 
**Note:  Burger King does serve shrimp as well, but they were out of it the day we visited.  We're not sure how we feel about ordering shrimp there anyhow.  Maybe everything does happen for a reason...
Onion Overload!

Want to add some excitement to your BK entree?  Order grilled onions to go along with it.  They'll add just 25 calories and a half a gram of fat (1 WW Point) to your meal, and TONS of flavor!
Veg-Out!

We reported on the King's new veggie burger a few months back.  But until now, we hadn't tasted it.  Made by Morningstar Farms, we had high hopes for this patty.  And it didn't disappoint us.  This veggie-licious circle of yumminess is much larger than Morningstar's regular patties, and we think it tastes even better.  The patty alone has 190 calories, 5g fat, 760mg of sodium, 19 carbs, 6g fiber and 18g protein (3 WW Points).  Slap some grilled onions on this baby and order it low carb style, and you'll have yourself a delicious low cal lunch!  But do yourself a favor, skip the bun (160 cal.) and the mayo (80 cal.).  If you order it as is, that thing will run you 420 calories and 16g of fat.

We had no idea BK carried Minute Maid Light Lemonade, but we enjoyed a half light lemonade/half Diet Coke mixed beverage during our trip.  Dee-lish!
Hungry Girl Warning!!!

BK breakfasts are horribly frightening! There's nothing even remotely healthy on the morning menu, so don't even think about showing up here for an AM meal or snack.

August 26th is National Cherry Popsicle Day.  Feel free to celebrate with one.  Sugar free popsicles have hardly any calories at all...and ones that contain sugar or fruit juice are usually under 50 calories as well.  So have a pop!
